Match Report: Soltilo Bright Stars vs UPDF F.C

Soltilo Bright Stars played against UPDF FC today(19/10/22) in what was fourth game of the campaign of the season for both teams.

The match ended in a one all draw with Loki Emmanuel scoring the goal for Soltilo Bright Stars in the 35th minute with a well struck ball while the opponents had Abbas Kyeyune to thank for their goal which came in the 81st minute.

The team created several chances infront of the goal which were not buried. Several of these(chances) fell to Nelson Senkatuka in the first half who was having his first full start of the season after coming on as a sub in the last two games and missing the seasonal opener at Kitende through a knock injury.

There were many positives to pick from this draw as this ensures the team hasn’t lost any games yet this season and also coneded only twice.

This result marks the fourth consecutive draw that the team has registered and thus ensures the team maintains its 7th position on the log with a total of 4 points.

Kitimbo Innocent who came on in the 65th minute was making his debut for the club after his move from Lamancia FC in the transfer window.

Also in the same game, Ashraf Mulindi came off in the first half due to a hamstring injury and was replaced by the goal scorer, Loki who had started on the bench.

Moving forward, the team plays against URA FC next away in Mukono and Nakisunga Sazza ground and will be hoping to pick three points from that match.
